Judge Lee Han-young Poster Revealed Ahead of January 2026 MBC Premiere

MBC Drama has officially revealed a commemorative poster for its upcoming legal fantasy series Judge Lee Han-young, instantly raising anticipation among drama fans. Adapted from a popular web novel and webtoon, the drama promises a gripping mix of justice, redemption, and time-slip storytelling. The series is set to premiere on January 2, 2026, at 9:40 PM KST on MBC.

Judge Lee Han-young follows the story of Lee Han-young, a judge who once lived a morally compromised life after becoming a puppet of powerful forces within the legal system. After meeting an unexpected death, he is mysteriously given a second chance and travels ten years back into his past. Armed with future knowledge and deep regret, Han-young begins a new fight—this time to uphold true justice and correct the wrongs he once ignored.

The newly released poster highlights the striking contrast between the drama’s characters, emphasizing the thin line between justice and corruption. Ji Sung takes on the titular role, portraying the internal conflict of a man torn between his past sins and his desire for redemption. Park Hee-soon appears as Kang Shin-jin, a dark and formidable figure within the legal world, while Won Jin-ah plays prosecutor Kim Jin-ah, a character driven by determination and a strong sense of purpose. The poster’s visual style mirrors the webtoon’s artwork, underscoring the high synchronization between the original source material and the live-action adaptation.

Based on the original work by author Lee Hae-nal, the drama has been praised for translating the web novel’s imagination directly to the screen. The “100% sync rate” highlighted in promotional materials suggests a faithful adaptation that retains the emotional depth and moral tension fans loved in the original story.

As part of MBC’s highly anticipated 2026 lineup, Judge Lee Han-young is expected to deliver a powerful narrative filled with suspense, ethical dilemmas, and compelling character arcs. With a strong cast, proven source material, and an intense premise centered on second chances, the drama is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about legal thrillers of the year.
