Phantom Lawyer Episodes 1–2 Review: Yoo Yeon-seok’s Supernatural Courtroom Drama Starts Strong

The first two episodes of Phantom Lawyer introduce a unique blend of supernatural mystery and courtroom drama. The story follows Shin Yi-rang, played by Yoo Yeon-seok, a struggling lawyer whose life changes after he begins seeing ghosts and gets possessed by them during trials.

In Episodes 1 and 2, Yi-rang discovers that restless spirits want his help to resolve the grudges they couldn’t settle while alive. His unexpected courtroom behavior shocks everyone, especially elite lawyer Han Na-hyun, played by Esom, who becomes suspicious of his strange abilities.

These opening episodes focus on setting up the drama’s supernatural concept while introducing the main characters. With its mix of humor, mystery, and emotional ghost stories, Phantom Lawyer starts off as an interesting and refreshing legal K-drama.
