BTS’s Jin is officially back, and he’s taking over hearts and charts with his new solo EP Echo. Released on May 16, the album showcases a fresh side of Jin, blending pop rock, ‘80s synth vibes, and a hint of country. The lead single “Don’t Say You Love Me” isn’t just a treat for the ears—it comes with a heart-tugging music video featuring actress Shin Se-kyung that fans can’t stop talking about.
One of the most exciting surprises? A dreamy collab with Yena on the track “Loser.” Yes, you read that right—our Jin is out here experimenting with genres and teaming up with fellow stars like a true soloist.
Echo didn’t just top charts—it smashed records. It became the highest-selling K-pop album of 2025 on its first day, even surpassing some of the biggest names in the industry. Talk about a comeback!
To celebrate the release, Jin hosted a special offline fan event titled “Don’t Say You Love Me @ Seongsu,” calling it one of the happiest moments of his life. And just when fans thought it couldn’t get any better, Jin hopped on a Weverse livestream, where J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook crashed the party—causing chaos and laughter in true BTS style.
Jin also recently held a hi-touch event, reminding fans (gently but firmly!) to be respectful during interactions. Classic Jin—always thoughtful, always charming.
But that’s not all—Jin’s variety show Run Jin is making headlines thanks to an unexpected guest: Tom Cruise! The Hollywood icon appeared in a recent episode, and fans are still reeling from the star-studded surprise.
As if we needed more good news, Jin is also preparing for his very first solo world tour, RunSeokjin Ep. Tour, kicking off on June 28 in South Korea. He’ll be making stops in Japan, the U.S., the U.K., and the Netherlands—so international ARMYs, get ready!
